Visitors in the night
8 06 2004The problem with relying on me remembering what I was sleepwalking about… is umm .. not too effective.
Considering that most of the time, I have very little memory. Which means I’m sure I’m missing some of the most entertaining snippets.
Like this morning.
I got up multiple times, 3 or 4 that I can remember. Thinking someone was coming to visit, and I had to do stuff before they arrived.
So I would jump out of bed, get dressed, check the hall to see if they were here yet. I even jumped on the computer to find their arrival details.
This brings me to an interesting point.
Clocks always confuse you heaps when youre sleepwalking!
Mainly because they generally disagree with whatever is going on in your head. But it takes ages. And I mean not just glancing at it. but a total non comprehension of what the clock says. Because it is completely illogical to be 3.24am for example. I end up looking at the clock trying to ‘work out’ what it actually says for a good minute or so.
Maybe I just need a big bright red LED clock that I can’t misread..
