The 1000 Day Holiday

This has me chomping at the bit thinking about it.

And I thought S was crazy for considering a 1/2 marathon!

I think its an attractive challenge in that its in the wilderness, and not just plodding around streets.

wonder if I can do it in 24 hours. thats only 4.1km/h. slightly over walking pace.

Oxfam Trailwalker Sydney: 100 kms – teams of 4 – 48 hours

Got back to Sydney on Monday @ 7.30am
got on plane to Melbourne for the day…
got back 7.30pm

On plane for Canberra (URGH!) on Friday 7am, dont have flight back yet
On plane for Boston MA on Saturday, not sure of date back yet.

Well this is my first post while on the road via my blackberry. (Heh GEEK heh) enough crap

Oficially on holiday now that I’ve finished my 1.5 days of work in wellington.

The food is awesome. Just finished a plate of green lipped mussels. And now I respect why they are the best in the world. Sydney made me appreciate them. There could be no eating 10X1kg pots of those. Yummy

Off to explore Wellington on a school night.

Well it hailed last night.

and today we went for a walk to the Makara Gun Emplacments. 35+ knot winds made it a bit chilly, however awesome view.

tops gig, although should have been all in the main hall, Concord dawn was relegated to the 2nd room. Shapeshifter & Salmonella Dub got the place jumping. SD even did a DnB live remix great night, and glad I changed my flights for it.

Well Im off, screw this country, the grass is greener and all that.

PFFT! well im sure it is greener, and steeper, with more snow. But alas I only visit for weekends.

Actually back for 10 days, a week in Wellington, and 3 back in Nelson.
